EcoExposure™ Urine Assay Update: Upcoming Observational Study Summer/Fall 2026

At ecotera health, we're continuing to make steady progress on the development of our EcoExposure™ smartphone-based urine platform for decentralized monitoring of microplastics and nanoplastics.

Over the past months, we have achieved several important milestones:

• Submitted an FDA Pre-Submission (Q-Sub) to obtain early regulatory feedback

• Continued assay optimization and analytical development.

• Demonstrated feasibility across multiple human urine samples and decentralized smartphone workflows.

• Expanded our growing portfolio of technical notes, preprints, and intellectual property.

  
  
  
  

  

Our current focus is on the next stage of development, including:

• Controlled analytical calibration studies to generate large standardized datasets for assay refinement and AI/computer vision development.

• Finalizing IRB review and study logistics for a decentralized U.S. observational study.

• Continued development of the EcoExposure™ smartphone platform and longitudinal data infrastructure.
  

The planned observational study is designed to evaluate workflow and collect real-world data to support continued platform development.
